I really liked the "Frat House' sitcoms that resulted from the success of "Animal House" one was a direct spin off called "Delta House" that had many regulars from the movie.
The other was called "Brothers and Sisters" and I really remember thinking it was great.

I remember a movie of the week where a guy made an armor suit like Iron Man and he couldn't walk until he wore the suit. Something went wrong and the suit lost power-maybe due to gunfire, and he asked a young black kid to press some buttons on it to re-start the suit. The kid saw the suit but before he approached he looked up all around the sky to make sure there were no UFO's in the area. I don't know what that was.
There was a comedy/mystery/soap on NBC same season as Cliffhanger and Supertrain which seemed to be like the Clue board game turned into a night-time soap/sitcom. I can't remember what that was.
I do remember A Man Called Sloane, Sledge Hammer!, Masquerade, Wait Till Your Father Gets Home.
How about: Gene Rodenberry's Spectre movie of the week, Lady Blue, Strike Force with Robert Stack and Trisha Noble?
EXO man, polit /movie is on youtubeLeave a comment:

Some of my fave shows that know one seems to remember are dramas. Dolphin's Cove, A Year In The Life, Aaron's Way, Legacy. And a lot of Shaun Cassidy's shows that he created and/or produced (or was a show runner or script advisor):
Over My Dead Body
American Gothic
Cover Me
The Agency
The Mountain
Tarzan
InvasionLeave a comment:

I don't know?
I don't know if I have the name right, but I'm going to guess "Ace of Spades".
It was about an innocent guy sent to prison who uses his time there to learn all the criminal trades/skills - cons, lockpicking, etc. - then when he gets out uses them as a PI to help the innocent/fight crime. He had a sidekick named Hector who he did time with, and during the opening credits he says something like 'They say in prison you can get an education. Well, I want to go to school.'
I think it had a one season run, if that, in the late 70s-early 80s. I watched it religiously.Leave a comment:

A cartoon that I never hear talked about is "The Houndcats"...I don't recall much, if anything, but I think I really liked the baseline of the theme song...Unless I may be confusing it with something else....Leave a comment:

no one I have come across remembers this Hanna barbara short lived show called "joke book". It was aimed at adults, prime time slot and was animated with a number of shorts by various artist all adult themed for the most part. Aired on NBC or ABC and the theme song was sung by Scatman Crothers. I have one episode on tape but that is it
Even in toon trading sites no one seems to recall this early 80's outingLeave a comment:

"Wait Till Your Father Gets Home" which was an animated sitcom that I believe was shown in prime time. It is on DVD but I swear I am the only one that remembers it. It was created by Hanna-Barbera and only ran a couple seasons. I was about 7 years old when it first aired. Haven't seen it since (I'll pick up the DVDs some day) but for some reason it has stuck with me for a long time.
Of course I could go on and on about the really bad Saturday morning shows like Electra Woman and Dyna Girl, Land of the Lost, etc.
Anyone remember Project UFO?Leave a comment:

And yes, 'Wait Until Your Father Comes Home', an excellent show.. Watched it all the time.
'Course I'm still the proud owner of ALL those 'Fall Preview' TV Guides from '75 through the 80s, so I like to look up shows that didn't last long but always cool to see how young some actors looked before they got really famous later on.

I remember it! I have the issue of Playboy that actress was in. The show was cancelled at one point and then they did it live on stage for broadcast.Last edited by johnmiic; Aug 31, '10, 11:37 PM.Leave a comment:
