I always hated Lance Link ... Even as a kid I knew it was a ripoff of Get Smart

My Sister and I were just talking about Lancelot Link this weekend!!!
That's a huge part of why I think anthropomorphized chimps are hilarious...to this day.Leave a comment:

I could never understand why they chose to just redo old episodes word for word.
It was bound to tank doing that.
It's like the show was ment to fail from the start.Leave a comment:

Lancelot Link - Nobody I know remembers this. I vaguely recall this being a live-action chimp. I was pretty young at the time.
Spectreman - Everyone know Ultraman, but nobody remembers or even believes in Spectreman. I loved this show. Same premise, a Japanese dude grows to 1000 feet tall. He had a dark red suit and a Mr. Roboto mask thing going on. Unlike most shows in the genre, he used weapons if memory serves. I've tried to find evidence of this show but only found a bootleg DVD cover with very poor art.
Nightman - This maybe lasted four episodes, but is based on the Malibu Comics character. I liked it, but then I used to rock a mullet, so my tastes are questionable.

Don't forget Sally Struthers was the voice of the daughter. Boomerang aired it a few years back.I remember that from when it originally aired. Mainly, I never forgot about it because of Tom Bosely's voice. Since Happy Days came right behind it, I just always associated Mr. C with Harry Boyle.
Jackie Earle Haley and Willie Aames voiced the youngest kid, Jamie and Jack Burns' voice was pretty recognizable to Andy Griffith fans.Leave a comment:

How 'bout "The Roman Holidays"? That was from around the same time period I think....Same sketchy H-B animation...."Wait Till Your Father Gets Home" which was an animated sitcom that I believe was shown in prime time. It is on DVD but I swear I am the only one that remembers it. It was created by Hanna-Barbera and only ran a couple seasons. I was about 7 years old when it first aired. Haven't seen it since (I'll pick up the DVDs some day) but for some reason it has stuck with me for a long time.Leave a comment:

>Wow, somebody else who remembers it
I remember it. Mostly I remember the superhero parody "windman," who had the power to blow people's hats off.
Up until recently there was a cable station (I THINK it was Teletoon Retro) that aired "Wait 'til Your Father Gets Home" almost hourly.
>"It's your Move" with Jason Bateman and David Garrison
I know SOOOOO many people who loved that one!
