    Hey Dad lets play Megos

My daughter asked the other day if we could play with my Megos. So we got all the new Retro action figures down, and Superman Green Arrow and Green Lantern, had to stop Sinestro and Lex Luthor from taking over the world.

After we played I was wonder how many folks here break out the Megos for a round of play with their kids?

Think B.A. Where did you hide the Megos?

Even though I have no kids of my own, ME! Kids have come over here and played Batman and Robin, POTA, Star Trek, Action Jackson and Spidey. And yes, they're original Megos.

Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic

Joseph and I play with them quite often. He has a very nice collection of "play with" megos, vintage and retro. We will break out his Star Trek Bridge, Batcave, or the treehouse we built and have a blast. Once in a while big sister Jennifer will even join in the fun.

My daughter, who is the older will play with them or ask me to play with her. My son likes to look at them, but is more comfortable with his Imaginext stuff right now. A few months ago he needed Green Arrow to play with almost constantly, so it gos in waves.
        It's all good!

My son is 2, and I got him a Superman when the Mattel figures came out. He liked him, but for whatever reason, it just wasn't a toy he played with that much.

Then one day, when I was working on my Iron Man custom, he came up and asked real sweetly, "Daddy play Superman too?"

So he grabbed his Superman and I grabbed my (half-naked) Iron Man and we flew them around the house. He loved making flying noises and swooshing the figure all around.

We're not quite up to the whole good guy/bad guy stage yet, but I would go dangle my figure over the edge of a dresser or something and say, "Superman, come save me" and then his Superman would fly in and save the day. And then he would do it and have me save him.

Oh... and when we flew past my wife, we would say, "Greetings, citizen". Gotta love a 2 year old saying "Greetings, citizen"... he cracked me up.

It was definitely one of those moments where you appreciate how lucky you are to be a dad.
