Because most seem to think Tom Cruise is insane and Ron Jermey is nice?

      I'm just messing with you.

I can't think of any celebs I'd want to meet. I'm a nerd that collects toys and they are multi-millionaires.

Random celeb: "I just bought another vacation home. It cost me 7 million"

Me: "I just got the new Boba Fett figure at Target. It cost me 7 dollars. Wheeeee!"

Not exactly a lot of shared interests there to talk about.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Well, I think we could all have a conversation with Seth Green . He's one celebrity who might respond to you saying, "Cool! Which variation of Boba Fett did you pick up?"

Although I do know what you mean about the lack of common interests with many celebrities, it's not always the case. In terms of income, there are certainly a LOT of celebrities who aren't rich. Famous doesn't always equate to money. That's part of the reason you see some of the same people at all of the comic book conventions; those appearances are how they pay their bills. In fact, I know one celebrity who has a day job in an office that's completely unrelated to the entertainment industry. She was actually quite embarrassed when she first admitted it to me and tries to keep it under wraps.
Nostalgia just ain’t what it used to be.

The coolest celeb I ever met was Dirk Benadict.

The guy didn't even have a "handler"

                Just seems that way.

Same here....I don't give two squats about celebs and how they live. Just entertain me and be gone.

Hector, I am not talking about criticizing or even making fun of the other side, I am talking about stuff like:

"This is about hating a black man in the White House. This is racism straight up. That is nothing but a bunch of teabagging rednecks."

                    Janeane Garofalo

"truly, there should be a bar by which one goes to prison for these kinds of lies.”

Sean Penn on those who call Hugo Chavez a dictator

I am talking about wishing prison, death and branding racist and celebrating or mocking an opponents bad fortune.

Yeah; but EVERYBODY does that to the "other guys." Whoever they may be. It's one of the advatages of picking a team.

Gary Busey on the other hand, is a total loose cannon.... as likely to bite friend or foe.

                      *shudder* Gary Busey....

Even though I listen to him sometimes I can imagine Howard Stern would be a jerk in real life.

Any celebrity that has outspoken racist/sexist/...views. I wouldn't want an autograph of a guy who beats up women or thinks black people are inferior.

Any celebrity that has 47 cars in his/her garage, but wouldn't spend a dime on a worthy cause.

I'd also like to send Paris Hilton into space, aimed at the sun. She'll probably enjoy the extra tan on her way there.
                          .
                          .
                          .
"When things are at their darkest, it's a brave man that can kick back and party."

I couldn't think of anyone till tonight. I would not want to meet Brent Spinner who played Data on Next Generation. By most accounts he is a brilliant actor but a real arrogant jerk. This was confirmed not by people who saw him at conventions but the people who actually ran the convention-when they had conventions in NYC.

By many accounts I heard, Howard Stern is a real sweet guy in non radio life. It makes sense if true, that means he uses radio to exorcise his more naughty, dirty, judgmental hot headed side.

                                Hey,
ANYONE who spends most of their time putting down the other side personally would p*ss me off. Although I lean conservative, if a right leaning actor argued ideas, I would listen and respond, just like a left leaning actor. However, when it gets personal and downright mean, anyone and everyone who is like that just gets dumped in my book.
