    Bay Area weather

Note: These are for coastal cities like San Francisco and Oakland. Inland Bay Area cities like Walnut Creek and Dublin are much hotter (closer to the valley).

The last couple of days...we finally hit the 90s...first time this Summer...lol.

    Today is 90.

Tomorrow is back to the norm here during Summers...77...

...and by Saturday...it will be 65 and cloudy...

And that's the main reason I LOVE living in Northern California...

Right, and yet yesterday I moaned all day about how hot it was. Spoiled brats.

Man I wish it were that cool here. Yesterday was 107 and todays gonna be 108. Was 88 last night and had never felt it that hot in the valley during the night.

I hate being at my job when it's like this b/c all the kids are sticky and cranky and it's too hot to take them outside, but at least we have a multi-purpose hall. I can't wait til naptime!

It's 104 right now outside. Inside it's only 84...but last night it was 87 upstairs. Hot, but a rare event.

We've had 54 straight days of 90 degrees or hotter (5 straight of 100 or more during that time). How do you stand it?

Weren't you complaining about the lack of hot weather in Oakland just last week?

Now you are complaining because it's too hot.

Can't get pleased either way...can ya...

60s is perfect weather for me.

                    70s is tops for me.

                    80s and I start complaining.

                    90s and I start crying.

100s I just rather shoot myself...

I was born and raised in New Mexico, 100 degree summers every year of my life. Why is it that nothing seems as hot as the mid 90s in Oakland?

I lived in el Paso for a year...and it was blazing hot too...100s everyday in the Summer too.

Oakland doesn't have any humidity...plus it always gets the Pacific Ocean breeze (especially in the evenings)...and the fog in the morning (nowhere near as much as San Francisco or Pacifica though)...Oakland is never hot in either mornings or evenings.

So yeah...strange that you feel this way.

I like living in a seasonal climate.

Also, the whole earthquake thing turns me off to living in California no matter what the weather is.

They know a big one is coming - it's a fact .... but people just go on living there tempting fate.

                          Strange.

It would be like living below a cracking damn.

Not really, the climate is so mild when a real heat wave strikes it's unbearable. It's all relative.

                              The earthquake topic AGAIN...lol.

Compare earthquake deaths in Cali...to hurricanes, storms, tornadoes, floods, deaths from both freezing & dying of heat strokes...on your side of the world...not even close...lol.

By the time the BIG one strikes...and I mean the really BIG one...I'll be long dead...lol.

Sorry...the earthquake excuse is kinda lame...
