I have seen certain McDonald´s restaurants with themes. In Georgia there is a rock n roll McDonalds.

I was wondering if I opened one up could I make it into a theme too? I would take us back to the seventies with ALL the Ronald Mcdonaldland characters. Screw you HR Pufnstuff!!!

This month was my first time I must say for visiting a McDonald's that was some what up scale for McDonald's anyway. This place was "way different" compared to many regular McDonald's. Different as in good. I am not big into fast food so this type of place may have been in existence for some time. It was definitely a new experience for me and my gf during some of our travels.

That's what I call them, too.

I loved them as a kid and hadn't ordered one for years until a few weeks ago (I was feeling nostalgic). Talk about a MAJOR disappointment. Much smaller than I remember and the durned thing cost about 3 bucks. Buh.

3 bucks for a Wonderbread PB&J sandwich would have been a FAR better deal.

If you take a good look at their cow to person population in their countries, you'll see that cows outnumber humans.

I have a guilty pleasure of eating at Mc'd's every once in a great while to. Then when I do it always reminds me why I do not eat there more often.

Of course I should have guessed that they are not made in America. What is these days? I am surprised that the meat does not come from China to.

                  I know, I know.

Historically, I have a lot of love for the Mac. The one I got still tasted like they did back in the day. My hang-up is the durned thing being only about 4-inches across and costing about 3 bucks.

I love the classic regular hamburger and cheeseburger at McDonald's and the fries are still great. Adjusted for anything you can account for they are still very approximate to what I remember as a kid.

I can't extend that appreciation to the Big Mac these days. Too little for too much. (Twice as much for two-thirds of the size I remember).

Time out. This is a logic thing.

While one should scratch their head that a beef rich country like the US would import beef from anywhere else, that statement needs some clarification.

While they do import beef from other countries, that only makes up a very small percentage of the beef they use. None of it comes from South America, but the small percentage comes from New Zealand and Australia and that is ONLY because they can't get enough lean US beef to cover their demand. Prior to 2002 it ALL came from the US. (By the way, McDonald's is the Nation's largest purchaser of US Beef. That is easily verified and totally contradicts the claim.)

So, some McDonald's burgers are not made from American Cows, but most of them are.

When I go to Micky Dees.. I usually get two regular double cheesburgers...it's a much heartier meal than a Big Mac...and cheaper too...only $1 a piece.

And if I just wanna get a single burger...I'll make it a Double Quarter Pounder.
