Much like with Star Trek and many contemporary innovations, we are left to ponder whether or not this was foretold or rather inspired by Cheech and Chong. Perhaps a little of both?

The article says the hemp was licensed from the Canadian government, but it doesn't list any other affiliation with the government.
No matter what I think the headline "Canada's Cannabis Car" is meaningless and sensationalizing. A more appropriate "Canadian Cannabis Car" would have been fine with me. It's a small difference - but it's something that bothers me about the way US media presents Canada.Comment

Yeah, fair enough. I got up on the wrong side of the bed today I think. Sigh.
It would probably only takes one major corporation to lobby for legalizing hemp production for laws to be changed at this point. I guess this could be a step in that direction.
On a side note, I bought a pair of hemp jeans years ago - I hated them. They kind of had a weird burlap smell and always felt a little itchy. Maybe it was just that brand.Last edited by Brazoo; Aug 25, '10, 6:26 PM.Comment

On a side note apparently a few drops of Hemp oil a day on skin cancer causes the cancer to drop off after a few days and you are healed.“When you say “It’s hard”, it actually means “I’m not strong enough to fight for it”. Stop saying its hard. Think positive!”Comment

It's hard for me to believe that a guy who claims to have cured 92% of his cancer patience wouldn't have more written about him on the web - or even a Wikipedia entry.
He was a guest on "Coast to Coast", is that where you heard him?
All in all, this is nothing new. When you look for them, it's amazing how many clinics and treatment centers around the world claim to have found the cure for cancer. I personally find it very sad and cruel that there are so many who are willing to make a buck off the most needy and desperate people. Especially in cases where people forgo potentially helpful medical treatments.Comment
