I have indeed found friends I haven't seen or heard from since our 10 year high school reunion. Our 30 year reunion is next summer. Also helps keep me updated on family issues, like my cousins triple bypass surgery from last week. I don't get on there everyday but enough.

I finally did it cause i promised my wife's sister i would. I was on for a couple of months, enjoyed connecting with some old friends, wondered how a few others stayed out of jail, was right about some spending time in jail, then i had had enough of someone asking for a damn goat. I barely go on anymore but it serves it purpose.Comment

Nope, not the only one. Despite repeated requests from certain family members and friends, I've stayed away from Facebook so far. To each their own, I suppose, but I personally prefer to spend my limited free time elsewhere.Comment

I've re-made some old friends from school
what's funny is how shocked they all are when I talk/chat with them. I was like the super shy kid in school and most knew I was a nice guy, but had no idea of my warped humor or how much of a smartass I can be. So it sets them back a bit, and had one of the head prep gals (who at one time was very hot, now just semi warm LOL) even say they feel that the class really missed out by over looking me because I was the quiet guy. I've had fun, but for sure there are those few who I block and feels great when they ask to be my friend and I reject them LOL.
My girl friend and I have found that Facebook really helps get the word out about the cold case Dena works on. over 2000 friends now on the missing Joanie Hall page.Comment

It's cool to see what your highschool classmates have been up to. Even though they are my "friends" I rarely chatter with them. There is an upcoming reunion and frankly, I don't give a damn. Those who look outside dream. Those who look within awake.
Samples of my work are found here: Life, Liberty and Pursuit of Happiness
To do list:
1:6 boots for Mathilda, 1:1 Romulan Commander outfit, Ursus helmet; Cornelius appliance
1:9 scale ape's new suit for Cornelius;Comment

Go for it. It seems like a much bigger deal that it actually is. If you accepts someone's request or even add them on your own your under no obligation to have steady communication. It's just means you're interested in keeping up with their latest news. While there are some exceptions I find the activity on most of your average person's page (including mine) to be pretty slow.Comment

Ja, I have hooked up with a lot of people, friends all over the world whom I thought I might never talk with again. It's fun to catch up.Comment

You're not the only person, I'm not on Facebook, either.Everyone told me how cool MySpace was, and I dismissed it for a long time. But then I finally join and then Facebook became all the rage. So now MySpace is just deadsville, and I'm not joining any more trendy sites like that. I'm online all the time, and I have a website, so I'm not hard to find.
My brother is on Facebook and recently contacted his old friend Johnny Pabone from NYC, and his going next week to visit him."Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."Comment

I've reunited with some people I'd lost touch with during my 20s mostly and it's been very positive to have dinner as "grown ups". Makes it easy to tolerate the people that you'd duck out in a supermarket that also find you.
I noticed some people just collect old friends like trading cards, yet they never converse with you on any level, it's odd.Places to find PlaidStallions online: https://linktr.ee/Plaidstallions

Nope
I'm a Tech by Profession and I stay the hell away from that grid...I honestly don't give a damn about people from High School.
...but I do get a special thrill finding out that some of them have fallen from their pedestals...

lol that's true, I see that alot. I keep it to family and close friends and then you make a few new ones. But some people seem to think it's like your post count.Comment
