However...I'm seriously thinking of getting the Supes one for display...
I have to put arch supports in mine. I can wear them without for a short period of time, but if I have to be on my feet for an evening out, I'm in pain. I've always loved my Chucks, but now that I'm older, I'm really noticing the lack of support.

Try "Jack Purcells" by Converse. They are simlar to Chucks, but a little more accomodating to those of us with wide feet.
Thanks for the tip. I have 2 pairs of low top Nikes that have that Chucks look, but they are really wide. Even those hurt after awhile b/c they have rubber toes and sides. Most of my shoes are suede and nylon Reeboks, so nothing is pushing on my toes.
