I've had to run several reports this morning and then hop on two conference calls so I've been a little occupied today. Normally I'm posting some fun news items. Haven't really had the time today. Came up for air to see how things were going, but it's back to the haul. Hopefully tomorrow is better!Comment

I am sure it would be.I am always concerned about trying games because I am afraid I might become addicted.
I have a friend that plays games for what seems like days/weeks at a time. It is like he is living in another world literally.
That is ok if you like games. There is nothing wrong with that if you can enjoy them. I have just never been a real big gamer personally.
I have seen that mafia game advertised on FaceBook quite a bit. I have been tempted a few times, but never did get started because of the above reasoning.but worth trying at least once

Couldn't prove it by me!We've had one week of warm weather all summer! We're lucky if we get to the mid 70s in the afternoon. And I've been waking up to 56 degree mornings. Someone at my job said they heard it's been the coldest summer in 40 years! I actually had to turn the heat up this morning.
I want some summer.
I really don't like heat (except in small doses like a vacation on the beach).
If I could...I rather live in Seattle than the Bay Area...live like a Twilight vampire...with an awesome overcast and rain environment...

It was actually a pretty cool game for it's time. You build your own theme park, create rides, sell food and snacks. Kind of like a Sims game I suppose.
Naturally you have to keep the customers happy or they will start tearing up your park if you charge to much for tickets, conses ions and rides.Rides break down and need repair just like in real life.

It actually rains less here than people think...it's just the gray between October and May that make us natives go MAD

Guess it doesn't matter now that this small city has grown exponentially.
Yes, if you love cold overcast drizzle days with gorgeous summers then Seattle is IT but so is Vancouver BC and Portland. I actually love Portland more because of the people and attitudes.
I was raised in L.A. since the age of two and got tired of the ridiculous heats, smog and attitudes.
Chose Seattle since I LOVE the cold and rain. People were nice and no attitude but I realized as the years went on, the attitude has changed. It's become like helL.A.. People I run into or meet have recently relocated here. But also we have people leaving as well since they can't take the overcast climate.
Still like it here but been frequenting Portland more and even though the summers are REALLY hot and winters are REALLY cold, I like the people.
Just a heads up, NYC gets more rainfall per year than Seattle.
But Portland gets more than Seattle.Comment
