    Patricia Neal RIP

Most people here will know here as Helen from "The Day The Earth Stood Still". She was 84 years old and had a real rocky life.

    Patricia Neal: 1926-2010

    A real great actress!

    RIP

She was offered the role of Mrs. Robinson in the Graduate, but turned it down and she played Olivia Walton in the series pilot for The Waltons.

Just imagine that a Mego Ma Walton could have been used as a custom Mrs. Robinson had she accepted or continued with the respective roles.

I always enjoy her movies. She was a quality actress and stood toe to toe with the best of them.
