Yeah, It's A Hemi!!!!!

If you didn't know, I wrecked (totaled) my truck a week ago yesterday. I got tired of driving that small rental car, so I went got me a Hemi!!!

I thought my Ford F150 Super crew was big, this thing is a monster.

2005 Dodge 1500 Ram Big Horn 4 door 5.7 Hemi, and man is it fine. It only has 28K miles.

This was bought off the local Hummer dealership used car lot. While I was there, some older guy was trading in a 2007 signed Shelby Cobra 650 HP Mustang for a new Hummer. They owed him $15,000 after the trade. I asked if I could "test drive" it, they just laughed.

That was a thing of beauty!!!!

I own one myself, and I can honestly say its the best truck I have ever had in regards to power, comfort, and handling. They have adaptive driving so your gas mileage will vary between ok and awful depending on how YOU drive.Drive like an ape...the computer senses it and rigs for power. Drive somewhat sensible, the computer will reward you with better mileage figures.
I just ran mine from Calgary to Tombstone Arizona, over to El Paso, and back up through Texas, New Mexico, and over into Colorado, Wyoming, and back up to Calgary. Through desert, mountain, and plain she never gave me a lick of trouble, and turned in a very respectable 19 mpg. For a truck this size, and with this kind of power, thats pretty darn good!
My company truck is a 07' Toyota Tacoma, and the thing can barely average 15 mpg with a six cylinder and a body made out of tin foil!

I only hope the Hemi lasts me as well as my Dakota, which just turned 15 last month, has 300,000 miles on it, and still runs like a charm! I almost traded it in on the Hemi...but I just couldnt part with her....shes a part of the family!!
