I'm a big fan of real Country music, but I despise most of the crap that passes for Country music today. Most of the best Country music was recorded during the late '20s through the '60s. There has been some really good stuff produced in the past 40 years, but you've really got to dig through the garbage to find the jewels.

Seems like most country music has gone the way of pop these days. It is much less country and more about the glam. My Uncle who is big into older country told me that the "kids" that are doing country today do not even have a clue what it was like then. Yet some of them "try" to perform it like they lived back in those days.Enjoy what you like, and let others enjoy what they like. (C) Azrak 2009
