It all goes to my daughter. We both share a interest in super heroes and collecting. My wife knows the full value of my stuff an would take care of it till my daughter was old enough to do it herself

Funny this topic came up around now
Last month I thought I had a heart attack, no BS
I awoke with a numb arm and had bad chest pains for about a month.
To be honest, I thought I was dying.
I finally went to the hospitol and they did a million tests.
The results were, I did not have a heart attack and they're still not sure what the pains were from ...
Well,
To sum up and bring my reply back on track - during this time I couldn't care less what happened to my stuff.
I'd definitely leave mine to whoever the kids are in my family....to PLAY with....Comment

I have 2 mego's that mean the most to me. The RC Batman I received when I was 9 and the Mint one I bought 15 years ago that will go to my Son and Daughter in that order. Hopefully and most certainly they will pass them on to their kids and so on and so on.......the rest of my 160 something minty boxed and loose figures will be at whatever their Mother thinks she should do with them.Comment

My daughter gets all the Megos and other 8-inch figs. My son gets all the 9-inch/10-inch figures.

Hmmm...good question.
On the one hand my wife has no clue the value of these but on the other knows I don't collect junk.
She would definitely get rid of them unless my youngest son really wanted them (he's the only one who has the collector gene). She would either put them up on Ebay, sell them in a yard sale, or donate to the Goodwill. The yard sale and goowill thing wouldn't be out of spite, she just wouldn't have the patience to list and sell them and I think is pretty unaware of those Ebay companies that will sell items for you."The farther we go, the more the ultimate explanation recedes from us, and all we have left is faith."

My husband and I have actually spoken about this. Seeing as though we have no children and are unable to, we really don't have a next generation to leave our crap to.
So, it goes like this:
If I go, my Smurfs are to be given to my sister in case she ever has children. Anything else that is exclusively mine, that he does not want to keep, or is of high value, he's to sell with my blessing for whatever he can get for it. He's been told to come here if he chooses to sell the Megos we both collect together. The GI Joes, Big Jims, and misc... ebay or collector at a show. Whichever.
If he goes first, I've been given names of people to sell his monster stuff, his Don Post masks, His complete run of Famous Monsters, etc, his Kennedy Assassination collection. I'd probably keep his complete Kenner Star Wars collection for a while, mostly due to the fact they were his childhood toys, and it would make me feel better to have them in the house.
Sometimes I think we speak of morbid things, but in the long run, I guess it's good to talk about this while we can and can express our wishes, or our blessings in regards to our crap. He knows I want to be buried in PJ pants, a Superman T-Shirt and a pair of red converse, with my beat up, capeless childhood Kenner Super Powers Superman.
And I know he wants to be cremated wearing a Don Post Darth Vader mask and a black cape. (unless I can get some good scratch for that mask... then he's getting one of those Hasbro eletronic dealies crammed on his head. What's he gonna do about it?)~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
