    I Hate House Centipedes !!!

The other thread go me thinking which bugs you see in the house you REALLY HATE.

So far (knock on wood) i've never lived in a place with roaches, but I did live in places with house centipedes.

These things have got to be the ugliest things on the planet ...
They're big (sometimes a few inches long) and scurry like no other bug --- and when you swat them they fold up into just legs --- (shudder)

Glad I never seen one in my new place - YET.
    Hope I never do.

Here's a pic incase you don't know what i'm talking about

      From the wikipedia article

House centipedes feed on spiders, bedbugs, termites, cockroaches, silverfish, ants, and other household arthropods.

So they do server a good purpose. But I agree they are hideous to look at.

Think B.A. Where did you hide the Megos?

I HATE the really long legged centipedes. They are the one of the few bugs I've seen that will actually charge a human. I dont know if they are just stupid and running blind or if they know what they are doing.BUT they almost ALWAYS lunge for me when I get the shoe ready. Its scary!!!!!

I never heard of them or saw them growing up so the sudden appearance of these things popping up everywhere was pretty disturbing to me.

I get them pretty regularly in my apartment now. The seem to come out when it rains for some reason.

never seen them before, hideous looking things.
I hate spiders, always making their nasty little webs all over the place. I built a huge addition onto my house last year, adding 2 garages to the existing one. Had all new sheetrock, painted etc....had totally cleaned the existing garage for this, and within a few months spider webs all over the damn place. Ugh!

I see them and their brood pretty regularly in the warmer months. I think my sister has a hole under the sink here she never bothered to fix. Thanks a lot sis! But when I see them I kills 'em thoroughly.

                            Hmmmm....

I get them in the basement: 2-3 inch long ones sometimes. On the upside, every time I squish one I earn 5xp. 250 more and I make it to fifth level. hellloooooo armour class bonus!
