That's great. I'm surprised you took such a big risk on them but now you've added another piece of knowledge to your repetoire.

I'm actually surprised the nativity figures didn't sell for more. They almost always sell for at least 40-50% retail so I would have expected the camel to sell for about $250 (that has been my experience with the Kuolt figures at least but I think the Kuolt line is the most popular).

You still have another camel, driver, and ox you said. Given the right circumstances, you could sell those for around $400 for all three so that should give you about $400 in profits excluding EBAY and paypal fees....not too shabby at all.

I did see some heavy bidding action on those two right out of the gate.

No doubt the boxes drove the prices up substantially. That was a great grab!!!

The camel was a good price at $150 and I would have paid that. The shepherds and figures are hit or miss. The Holy Family never sells for a whole lot just because there are more of them out there than anything.

The big bucks are made on discontinued shepherds. I have one that I'm getting ready to list that I hit a BIN on for $60 a few months ago. In theory at least, it should sell for over $200 just because it is an older better carved figure and it's discontinued.

Like I said, you can make some easy money on these just by purchasing up sets on EBAY and reselling them piece by piece.
