... Seriously, I sorta wanted to see him again....
At first espn was reporting like he was gonna make an announcement today.
Then the story changed, I'll believe it when the Vikes take the field without him for the first game and not until then.

I agree ...
I think His Wife Wants him too ...,
She looked pretty scared when He took those Arse pounded Shots in the Bears Game, and then even Harder with the Saints ...
But then , I think He wants to play so Much, and You Know the Vikings Want him to play , and are probably hounding him on the phone ....
I think He can be talked into playing ...
And Won't hang it up ,... just yet.
If he does ..., I'd be shocked..., and sadden, after last yr ..., The Dude was better than over half the other QB's in the League. He had alot of great 1's last yr. He's fun to Watch, atleast for Me.
... The Original Knight ..., Often Imitated, However Never Duplicated. The 1st Knight in Customs.
Didn't he already do this once before? Retire and them make a come back?
This seems to be the trend these days for a lot of the oldies but goodies. I think Roger Clemen's did it a couple of times in Baseball. Maybe it helps them revive their spirit about playing when they think about calling it quits.
Enjoy what you like, and let others enjoy what they like. (C) Azrak 2009
He is my son's # 1 QB in our fantasy football league that was auto drafted last week, I shure hate it for my son and the Vikings cause I think Bret is awesome I met him in Charleston WV right after GB won the superbowl back in 1997 and he was not the least too good to talk to me for about a half hour. I hope he comes out and plays one more time.
Considering he just came off another surgery I can see him thinking really hard about suiting up again. Being who he is makes him a target and I don't know about you but taking a direct hit from a guy 15 to 20 years younger than me doesn't sound like such a good idea. Harder to heal these days and I'm not a wealthy athlete with personal trainers and the best of the best health care. But even with those amenities at his disposal pain still hurts regardless of how much cash you have in the bank.
Hopefully this time it's for good...enough with the "I think I wanna play football again" Crap. Just stay retired this time. Nobody wants to see tears at his press conference.
"When not too many people can see we're all the same
And because of all their tears,
Their eyes can't hope to see
The beauty that surrounds them
Isn't it a pity".
I'm like you all. Not until the first snap of the first game (I do not count preseason). Then I'll believe he retired. While he's a great player I've really lost some repect for him playing this game every year.

Until the the first snap of opening day is taken, I will not believe he is retired. And what a ridiculous way to go out. His last play - an option to take a textbook hobble for five yards and the Vikes are in position to kick a winning fieldgoal and move on to the Superbowl. NO - Favre has to be the hero and throw the ball across the field - interception. Game over. What a dunce if he lets his career end like that. That play will be asked of him all season long and NEXT year he'll say he has to come back. Nah... I don't think he wants to hear that. I think he will come back.
