Well I am left handed, but I play guitar right handed. So the universe is still in balance

The lefties who PULL the writing instrument by curling your hand over the top of it (such as my wife) tend to do everything left handed. I would be interested to hear from the lefties here which way you write and if that holds true for you as well.
Interesting. Holds true for me. As one who "pushes" the writing insturment, I do most things (write, eat, play guitar) as a lefty, but hold a baseball bat, golf, play drums in a right handed fashion.

              Left handed

However, I was taught to bat right handed when I was very young and still do. I am a righty with a golf club as well. I also am able to play the guitar right handed.

Everything else is done with my left hand.

That was actually mentioned in a book I read recently called "The Survivor's Club" and was attributed to left handed people trying to adapt to a right handed world. They did say that there used to be a stigma against people who were left handed and forced to use their right hands (my father was one of them) in school. Even though it is still a right handed world, there really isn't any stigma attached to being left handed and the book said that there really isn't any noticeable difference in mortality rates between right and left.

On a personal note, I'm right handed as is my wife. My father and sister are left handed, my wife's brother and grandmother are lefthanded. My oldest son is left handed, my daughter is right handed (but she has a much stronger left foot shot on a soccer ball than your typical rightie) and my youngest son is right handed but plays soccer with his left foot being predominant.

I'm right handed. Except for sports. In that case, I suck so bad that it probably doesn't matter if I'm going for lefty or righty. (I didn't skate goofy foot, though)

Something I always wondered .... Would lefties be more comfortable driving on the left side of the road with a left side car ?
