I'm a lefty, and my wife is as well. Being that we are both left handed makes sitting next to each other at meals so much easier, not having to think about who will sit where after so many years of seating being an issue.
I also do many things right handed: play guitar, shoot pool, shooting, I can write with both but I'm slower with my right.
I have a left handed Aunt who can sit down with 2 tablets and write 2 diferent letters to 2 different people at the same time and she has nice penmanship with either hand.

One time a lady noticed that I was left handed, and said " Have you had much trouble with that?" The tone of her voice was full of sympathy.I guess she thought it was some kind of handicap.

There was a store in Lexington once,that sold nothing but items that had been altered for left handed people.What they didn't take into consideration was the fact that leftys have spent their lives adapting to right handed things.
The store didn't last long.

I'm right handed ... but have a lot of use with my left hand, everything I do is with my right but if needed work pretty good with my left hand also.

side note they (people who study left and right brain stuff) they say the crown on your head as for how your hair part is .. is a way to see if you're left or right handed ... or left or right brained .... and then there's the double crowns ... that has one on each side meaning whole brained ... which I found out via odd class in college that I fall under since I have two hair part crowns LOL LOL

Wow! I am surprised to see all of the lefty's here all in one place. It must be a Mego thing or something.

I have to be different of course. I am right handed. I can and some times do use my left hand for eating some times.

Anyone here ever try to throw a ball left handed when you are right handed? The results are kind of funny. Some friends and I did it a long time ago. We were all right handed and tried to throw the ball with our opposite hands. Pretty sad indeed.

On another note I have "heard" that lefty's do not live as long as righties. I guess that is because they are not living life "Right" . hahaha Ok bad joke. Seriously though for real. I am not sure how much merit that actually has, but it was supposedly true.

Not so sure about that with all of the lefties here I think you guys and gals are starting to kick butt and take names over the righties. Is this some kind of long planned invasion or something?

Video games would be so much better with reversed controllers(action buttons on the left movement analog on the right)..

I thought that on a lot of the newer games one could program the buttons for left or right??? As you can see I am not an avid video game player so I am not sure. I just figured that by now it should be a given.

not sure if I count but I have ... I can't throw it as far as I can with my right but sometimes I can throw it straighter with my left, I once won a large stuff animal at the state fair by using my left hand and not my right to throw the ball in one of those rigged up games they have LOL
