Originally 17.99, they are marked down to 13.00 by clearance sticker but if you scan them at the price checker they are $6.50 each. Saw it on the Yahoo Universal Monster Army and just got back from K-Mart with two in hand and confirmed it. I'm in TN and all they had left at my local store were Frankenstein and Dracula.

Our K-Marts here in the midwest are far and in between these days. Largely in part to Wally World taking over. The last time I was at a K-Mart I remember seeing those models that you spoke of. The selection was not that great here even when they were full price. Maybe I will check them out again real soon just to see if there is anything left.

I didn't even know Kmart still sold models. Which Monster ones did they carry? You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...Comment

Yeah, I do not really shop K-Mart that often these days as there is really not many of them around my area at all. I was kind of amazed that they still had models to the last time I was there.
I do still kinda like K-Mart as it still reminds me of my child hood toy shopping when K-Mart used to be the bomb back in the day.Enjoy what you like, and let others enjoy what they like. (C) Azrak 2009

What's K-mart?
Just kidding..but I haven't been in one in years. They kinda suck now. As much as I hate Walmart, Kmart seems like the thrift store compared to Walmart now.
So which kits are these? Aurora reissues?
pics?

Welp, I just got back from taking a trip to K-Mart. I am still amazed that they even continue to hold on vs. the golliath Wal-Mart stores.
I have some good news and some bad news.
The good news if you will is that they indeed had the Revell Monster models at the K-Mart that I went to. In fact they had plenty. Looking at the original price tag on them I can see why.
The bad news (damn the bad news anyway) Why does there always have to be bad news? The bad news is that they only had Drac and Frank.
Imagine that.
This really sucked as I had good intentions on picking these up for Brian. And more importantly cashing in on that big O hug that I "would have" got.
Sigh! An opportunity like that does not come around often. Now I will just have to wait for hell lto freeze over before Brian makes another offer like that again.
Anyway, I did snap a couple of pictures for the heck of it.
As you can see from the above picture they were originally marked at a real bargain price of $18.99 each. Not a wonder they were still sitting there collecting dust. Now they are marked down to $14.00 each on clearance. Ohh boy even a better bargain as they still sat there on the shelves taking up retail space.
Finally, I took one to have it scanned at the register and low and behold I could have got them for $7.00 each plus tax of course. Much better if of course they would have actually been the one that Brian needed. CRAP!! I tried man!
The above picture is what they had left.Last edited by livnxxxl; Jul 24, '10, 2:48 PM.Enjoy what you like, and let others enjoy what they like. (C) Azrak 2009
