    Digital over the air broadcasting sounds good in theory but he's worn in the you either you get it and it's great or you don't get it at all. Without a really good exterior antenna and you live in a moderate geographic location reception will digitize on you. Modern version of static if you will.

    As far as the big picture I think cable and satellite are not going to go away anytime too soon. The reason I say that is because most people don't want to have to fiddle with all the plug this into that and then do this and then that to just watch lackluster television programming. Now as far as the Netflix thing... brilliant. If you have one of the new game consoles that can receive the programming it's almost a no brainer. But still there are many Americans that aren't going to want to fool with it.

    I'd be interested in hearing the opinions on digital television from our friends over in Europe who have had DTV for quite a while now. But in the end for me I'll just stick to watching DVD's of the shows and movies I want to see when I want to see them. I can be patient.
