You're in Mass. Some of the best food in the country. Go eat. Then go join a gym. If you customize, find a class that can teach you how to sculpt or sew. Read books you've always wanted to. Think of things you've never done that you'd like try. Places. Events.

Do not sit in front of the computer every free moment.

The longer you sit out life, the harder it's going to be to jump back in.

    Challenge yourself. As Yeats said...

The friends that have I do it wrong

    Whenever I remake a song,

Should know what issue is at stake:

It is myself that I remake.

I know IF I were married I would definitely be thinking that in the back of my head for sure.

Aww - I'm sorry man, terrible news. I know you worked very hard to try and make things right.

Take these wise people's advice. It is hard to picture right now, but I'm sure one day you'll look back at this experience and be glad that you moved on.

    Cheers man!

suprisingly enough i'm being very civil about it, I know i can't force her to love me, what would be the point? We'd end up hating each other and I have no time for hate.

so we're going to do a civil divorce split everything 50/50, until the house is sold we'll each pay half the mortgage, she can live in the house and look after it and the cats, i'll slowly start moving my stuff into storage, hopefully the house won't be on the market long, it's a nice cheap little house we just need to get 140k for it and be out.

so yeah...a month shy of 8 years yay f'n yay
Feel glad Mine said the same but mine was after 24 years and had 4 kids involved. Me I screwed up and got upset and ended up doing 4 months in jail.

Dont you like the way they just come out with.. 'OH I dont love you any more" Dating yeah I can see that but married for years? You dont even want to try to work things out? Sigh*

Watch it divorce lawyers are brutal some of the stuff they advise is down right cruel and unusual.

Sorry to hear about it though. I feel your pain

Ya I agree my man. What can you do. Just try to treat life like a playground that was built just for you. Go out and enjoy it.

As someone who's been through a divorce after 6 years of marriage, I understand how you feel. And I didn't want the divorce either, my ex did. It can be very disheartening. But as bad as you feel now, it will get better. Just remember, when God closes a door, he opens a window. Be open to new opportunites and relationships. Be well, and try to stay positive.

I do regret to hear of your unfortunate event. It is great thing that you are both going to handle it in a civil like manner. Things could have been much worse. Best of luck to you both.
