Why bother doing that though? Anyone who's going to see this movie, or take their kids to see it, has most likely seen it before. It's been on TV about a MILLION times. Even the kids in my old class were impressed by the fact that I met "Cha-Cha" once, so it's not like kids don't know there's smoking in this film. I mean I get that smoking is bad for you, and I don't advocate it, but seriously, what purpose does digital erasing the cigs serve?

The MPAA is cracking down more and more on smoking in film and I think they forbid the showing of smoking now in green band trailers. They also forbid most blood so the blood smears on Uma Thurman's yellow jumpsuit were darkened to black for the trailer of Kill Bill.

I can't see paying for this to go hear old farts singing in a movie theater. I have the movie on Dvd and can put subtitles on if I wanna sing bad to it....... By the way Sandy is a Hot Milf

Believe it or not, this movie has a healthy younger following due to video and cable.

The edits are only in the trailer. The movie is supposed to still have the cigarettes in there.

I was aware of that...people had been criticizing the censorship in the trailer
and is what I was commenting on.
