Things that make you feel young

I see the things that make you feel old thread and my answer to that is, I refuse to feel old, no matter how much reality tries to beat it into me...



I'd rather talk about what makes us feel young.

For me, it's seeing some seminal things I love live on with kids today. Star Wars, Superheroes and even Star Trek. I know it's with newer incarnations but the core is still there.

It's seeing bands I love that are still kicking (If two of the original KISS members can do a stage show at their age, I can feel young at my age)

Seeing stuff like that only makes me feel young by comparison.

I'm a pre-school teacher. Nothing like playing w/ a bunch of 3-5 year olds to make you feel young.

Cartoons. Remember what I told Sandy about the way you watch them.

Toys. I not only collect them, I play w/ them. And they all have a story.

My cool PJs. I have at least 10 pairs of fun PJs and I love watching cartoons while wearing them.

Growing old is inevitable, but growing up is optional.

The other night I was flipping through radio stations and came across "Still of the night" by Whitesnake. Oh man!! Did that ever take me back! Great times. Stoked that old flame!
