My God, how much work does it take to restore something to this condition? I am in awe.

What blue is that? it's so purdy...

    I dig the two-tone Pony interior...very classy.

    Awesome job as always, Zemo...

oh man that is awesome ... so cool to see your work!

have you ever done a 70/71 torino or thought about doing one? I'd love to see your work done on a torino that needs to be saved.

I haven't had the time to work on this for a bit, but am back on it. Couple of new pics. Seats are recovered in the two tone pony. All glass in , motor runs like a watch. All wiring working, Headliner in. Read for the rest of the paint.

    No emissions in FL...

Man... if I had an extra $8700 lying around...

My brother in law in Lauderdale has been working on his 'stang for while, and man what I wouldn't give to drive by his place in that beaut Zemo's working on!

As it is, I'm trying to get rid of my husband's old mail jeep. Crappy body, but would make an awesome swamp buggy conversion... for someone that actually knew what they were doing... HA!

It goes pretty fast from this point. The hardest part is over, getting the body right, machining the engine, recovering the seats. It's all down hill now.

Antuque cars are usually excmpt from emissions and even safety inspection requirements, but in some state is the car has a title brand it's not eligible for classic or antique registration even if the car has that registration in another state (I got burned with my 76 torino that way so in PA it actually has to pass safety and emission) and the car may have to be in "showable" condition befre you can get the exemption status registration

also usually there are restrictions for how much driving you can do with classic or antique plated cars (but the insurance is usally much cheaper)
Your car is also post 74 when catalytic converters were introduced. Every state that still has emissions test (and they are dropping like flies, because they aren't cost effective any more as most of polluters have been junked)varies a little between them. But as a general rule anything from the 60's is exempt.
