It's funny how "cool" I used to be, or thought I was. I always wore "cool" clothes and had the "cool" hairstyle. But after I became a dad I realized what really mattered. I wouldn't trade it for anything. My son Davey thinks I'm awesome no matter what I wear so who cares what the world thinks.
I'm Davey's hero, and that's all I care to be.
(I do miss my parachute pants and chain-wrapped engineer boots though.)Comment
