You know the more I think about it...the more I'm starting to agree with you.
You and I both are not enamored by Robert Rodriguez...in that...we are in total agreement.
I think Rodriguez is a pretentious director...and his films show that.
However...I'm encouraging people to see it...not because of pompous and pretentious Rodriguez...but because of Danny Trejo...a man's man...lol.
We gotta give an actor...one who has been a character actor all his life...and dude who's not exactly Brad Pitt in the looks department...a dude who is a real baddass hombre...we gotta give him a chance...we must support him...we must all transform Trejo into a Hollywood leading man.

Dumb as a rock and can't act her way out of a paper bag...er, something like that. I think she is attractive, but I find many others way more so.
Michelle I don't find attractive. I mean, nice body, but not digging the face. More importantly though, I just find her annoying, and she plays the same character in every film/show she is in. The tough chick. One dimensional. As far as wild in the sack, well, I bet Lohan is as well, but...well....yeah...

Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarrantino=Loved everything they did.Including grindhouse.
Seeing Danny Trejo in a lead role will be a treat for sure.
Jessica Alba and Michelle Rodriguez.Whats not to like about these lovely ladies?

Man I have followed Trejo's career for ever.The first time I watched him on the screen I thought this dude is awesome.he needs his own film.
I love michelle Rodriguez and Alba I mean come on...seagal,cheach,don johnson and Deniro Christmas came early baby this is the expendables!!!

Same here....I love anything that Trejo is involved in. Sure he's been a type cast actor....BUT he's got that look.
I'm willing to bet that there are scores of women who would love to be ravaged by a rough and tough guy like Trejo (you know those who want the rough play "I've been a bad girl" type of action)
I hated seeing him go out like he did in "Heat" .....that was weak....but oh well....
Seagal?? Waaaaay overrated IMHO. Now there's a guy who can't break out of his type cast role

This looks great. I don't go the theaters much though. It takes a lot to get me to go when I can sit in my easy boy and watch it home in surround.
Seagal gets a hard time always, but he's the baddest guy in this move hands down.Comment
