You know, you might be right about that. I forget that he is still pretty young and he might have just gotten caught up in the whole thing. I can see it being entirely possible that those who would spin something like this may have just made it play out like a Wrestling Storyline.

If that's the case, they got their way for sure because this was the hot topic around the water cooler today.

I've stated it before in these threads, but I want to make it clear now: I don't fault his decision to leave, at all. My best reference is how I wish Barry Sanders would have done something similar back in the day. I was always disappointed that he passed up several opportunities for going to a better team because the money was always better in Detroit. Unfortunately, that always meant there was less money to put a good team around him.

I think the kids were dragged in to try to make it look a little better. I don't think he intentionally wanted to hurt the Cleveland fans, either. I also don't think he cared that he did. He's not a stupid guy. He had to know the result in Cleveland. I don't think he realized the national backlash that would ensue. Please read Adrian Wojnarowski's article at yahoo sports. It's a pretty accurate summation of the situation for both James and Gilbert. Oh well, it's only sports. As a Cleveland fan, I learned a long time ago to compartmentalize sports into a small area in my life. It's for my own well being.

anyone catch the Heat introduction party? even as a Heat fan i gotta admit it was sickening watch the Heat kiss all their asses , you could see it in his face that he wasn't comfortable and I think he's already regretting his decision ...not because he wants to win but because he feels a little guilty

I don't understand the anger towards LeBron. Fans knew he was going to bolt no matter what. I mean how long were people saying that he was going to the Knicks when his contract was up? It's just he went to Miami instead.

He does seem uncomfortable. The New York rumor comes for every major athlete. It's inevitable. I never believed that.

plus think about it, when his contract is up, he'll still be young..anywhere from 29-31..I think if he would've won a championship b then he would've been back with you guys, not sure that'll happen now with what the owner said

BTW, I don't think he's uncomfortable because he left. I don't think he cares. I think he's uneasy about his new image as villain.

Derrick Fisher is said to have spoke to Pat Riley today. So,don't know if that means he'll be coming to Miami as well.
