Well, no one in the gathered audience, mostly kids, clapped.

I don't blame him, but damn, way to call a press conference and rub those little Cleveland fans noses in it.

I respect him for wanting the best shot at a championship and to be willing to take a pay cut for it. I wish Barry Sanders would have done it and it may be that Barry Sanders wishes he would have, too.

BUT....this kind of media circus for that announcement....well...did those gathered kids, the kids that were brought there for that purpose, seem like they liked the decision??? ***!!!!

I respect the decision, but did we need all of that???

Karma is a boomerang. My money is on Miami to win one, but this kind of situation makes a good story when there is an implosion with three Superstars who wind up hating each other. All good stories are a case of the chickens coming home to roost.

I agree with you. poor choice to do it this way to Cleveland.

Burning his jersey in Cleveland, after all he did for that city, 7 years and no backup except the last two and that wasn't even close to what they should have gotten him.

Welcome to Miami LBJ, with your close friends Dwade and Bosh, good decision.

I think he made a good decision with the move. I respect the decision to take a pay cut for a shot at the championship.

BUT....he set up the burning jersey with the WAY he did this. The disrespect with this kind of circus around the decision (and I hate the circus..not the decision)...seriously, can you blame them for that (and I'm not saying they should overturn cars and riot in the streets)?

There was a way to do this and the way he did it was a textbook case of how to not do it.

                        This is for the kids.

Not one kid in that audience clapped, despite the proceeds, because they get it.

This is like school in summer....no class.

Yea, I agree, but ESPN is to blame as well, they have become the sports Enquirer.
