I love you KW, for mentioning Rick Springfield! Of course he was a FAVE!

Archies, Josie & The Pussycats, Fat Albert & The Cosby Kids, Brady Kids, Chan Clan, The Jackson 5, The Osmonds, Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kids, Alvin and the Chipmunks, The Neptunes (Jabberjaw), The Groovie Ghoulies, The Partridge Family 2200 AD, and an honorable mention to Kaptain Kool & The Kongs from the Krofft Supershow. Even though they were live-action, they were still a Saturday morning staple.

Josie and the Pussycats. . . . .particualarly the Scooby Doo Crossover. . . .since Shaggy has the same voice / actor as the dorky Character. . . . .is it Alexander the Manager?

I got this from Wiki. . . .But I only ever remember seeing Josie and the Pussycats in space.

Josie and the Pussycats featured an all-girl pop music band that toured the world with their entourage, getting mixed up in strange adventures, spy capers, and mysteries. On the small-screen, the group consisted of level-headed lead singer and guitarist Josie, intelligent tambourinist Valerie, and air-headed blonde drummer Melody. Other characters included their shady manager Alexander Cabot III, his conniving sister Alexandra, her cat Sebastian, and hunky roadie Alan M.

sixteen episodes of Josie and the Pussycats aired on CBS during the 1970-71 television season, and were rerun during the 1971-72 season. In 1972, the show was re-conceptualized as Josie and the Pussycats in Outer Space, sixteen episodes of which aired on CBS during the 1972-73 season

Josie & the Pussycats is Number One, because they had the best band theme song! But a close second has to be the Archies, because they actually had a top ten hit with Sugar Sugar.

And don't forget The Banana Splits!

And how about Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kids as well as The Hardy Boys?
