one of my older cousin's dad is in charge care take of the deaf camp here in oregon, and the camp has one of those, I got to ride in it a little. the camp is next to a river and they would just drive across it. They would have the trail set up just right, since the river current would move them down stream when it was a bit higher. They also has a pond. They're not as fun as 4 wheelers unless you get to drive across a pond or larger body of water. But if they had like paddle tires on then maybe it would be more fun in the water.

Back in the 80's some teens were riding one around my town ... They were riding it on a motorcycle trail and it flipped going over the railroad tracks ... I hate to be graphic but one of the kids got his head cut off.
Since then my town banned them.

A lot of the newer versions have roll bars to prevent this.
I know the one at work did as well.
