Sorry to hear the news.....my prayers are with your friend and with you with deep condolescences.

I did have a police officer friend of mine tell me that 100mph on a highway is right about the speed where the barrier of keeping control of a car (no matter what kind of car it is) gets broken. He told me he was once on a chase going 90 mph and came upon a slight curve on the road and he had to move as close in to the inside lane since the g-forces were pushing his car outward.

The best thing you can do as a friend is do something nice for his family. Even sending over a meal while they are grieving. When my dad died 16 years ago; our family just sat together for days trying to piece it altogether. Preparing meals was the last thing on our minds. I can still remember how appreciative we are were when someone would stop by and bring over a meal and offer their condolescenses. It has been 16 years but I still remember it very vividly including the numbing sensation that goes through your body as though all of your senses have been turned off.

    Peace brother

Man! So sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. Its very shocking when a life close to us is removed suddenly. But it should also be a reminder of how fragile our existence really is. Your friend's example is an extreme one, but in truth, it doesn't take a third of that effort to get you to the other side. Mark this moment as a reminder to cherish those around you each and every day. Because none of us knows when that last day will be. You have my deepest sympathies.

Wow...it must've been quite sad and shocking to find out he died...especially since you just had seen him earlier.

I'm sorry for the loss of your friend.

Having said that...it's a deadly choice he made...speeding with reckon abandon, even challenging police...let's all be thankful he didn't kill anyone himself.

              RIP.
