    To You New Parents....

So my youngest graduated today and while she walked up to receive her diploma I wondered where did the time go, I mean it was just yesterday when she was chasing me around the house yelling "your it" or lying on my chest all night as she sweet out a bad cold and now she will be off to High School next semester to a new set of friends and adventures.

The point I am taking forever to get to is enjoy all the time you can with your kids especially when they are young! What I thought would be a family day turned into me driving her to three different pool parties and a car full of teenage girls who switched topics every two seconds until I was dizzy! But she was having a blast....

They grow so fast!! So instead of just dropping them off at soccer practice, clear your morning and stay there with them, instead of watching that baseball game take them outside and play catch….. I wish I did!

Just my humble opinion, ok now where is my Cats in the Cradle soundtrack….

Point well taken. My oldest is already four and time just seems to have flown by. I wish I didn't have to work for a living so that I could spend even more time with my kids. But I try to spend as much time with them that I can, for the reasons that you have mentioned.

Yep, it is getting hard to carry the five year old around anymore. I don't even try with the 7 year old. They do grow fast.
            It's all good!

my daughter jacey-rose is now 19 and just passed her 1st year training to be a hairdresser... im very very pleased with her, she has cast a new stone, i wont go into details but a handfull of family on the other side never done a days work in there life and i feared she would get sucked into that mold
i kept pushing her and she has done wonders... i will support her all the way, i can see her in her own salon hair by jacey

my other daughter megan-summer is just approaching 2 next month, we are currently looking for a venue to hold a bouncy castle party, shes into dora, peppa pig, olivia, singing and dancing, not sure what shes going to be when older but she likes the cabbage patch dolls and care bears in my store so maybe she will take over from me LOL

but i agree time does fly, when you have kids with a large age gap as mine you get to see that more highlighted
im a bit cranky and older now but i do appriciate each and every moment with both my girls

sound advice Anthony. and I am sure you did spend plenty of time with them but you are right it does go by fast. My oldest is 11 now and it seams like only yesterday we were bringing her home from the hospital.

My niece ally is 13 now and it seems just like yesterday I would push her around in her little pink little tikes car. I still spend a lot of time with her, but at the same time I see it getting less and less as she gets older.
