I know the show has been of HBO for a while now but when it was on I had only caught a few episodes and really enjoyed them so when I got a great deal on the box set I could not resist….
I just finished the first season and I have to tell you this show is awesome! I know I am late to the party! Again!!

I've watched the first two seasons, been meaning to finish the rest of the series for ages.

The biggest problem I've found with my limited attention span is the fact that it takes a great deal of investment in the initial episodes each season to figure out who everyone in the cast of thousands are, and their interrelationships within the greater social/political system of the law enforcement/drug trade. Once they set up those dominoes, it's well worth the payoff.

I don't have HBO, so I was late to the party too. But I devoured the entire series via Netflix a couple yrs ago. It's really off the charts tremendous. My only complaint is that the journalist plot in the final season fell a little flat for me.

I've been meaning to watch this. After I'm finished catching up with Breaking Bad (which is a fantastic show!), I'm going to make The Wire the next television drama I work my way through from the beginning.

I really Love this Show. I watched it everytime they ran reruns because it's just so good. I also got it for Christmas. It's one of my all time favorite shows.

I envy you! The last season of Breaking Bad was phenomenal. Makes me want to erase my memory of the past season and watch it all over again.
