I share a wall with a gigantic shrink wrapping machine and a shipping door, so it would take a lot for me to notice. My chair felt like a massage chair for maybe 30 seconds, I thought it was a lift truck going by.

Wonder if the CN tower is ok

I'd hate to be up there when it happened

I live in Cheektowaga outside Buffalo, a few miles from the epicenter and felt nothing.

Montreal shook a little bit,I was told.
I also thought it was 1 of the dozen fork lifts I have buzzing around at the shop.

Here in NY area, there were calls to 911 from some spots in NJ (hackensack and some other Bergen Co spots) and the city (Borrklyn and Queens). I felt nothing in Manhattan.

LOL I was out walking when it happened and completely missed it. I think I missed it last time too but that was probably over a decade ago.

I do find it a strange coincidence that it happened as 2 days ago I started rereading Batman: Cataclysm. A storyline about Gotham getting hit by an earthquake.

A tornado touched down today in Midland as well. I hope everyone there is okay. I don't know any details on that yet.

Apparently it was felt in Michigan as well. I didn't notice anything...

It seems that if you weren't sitting down at the time, you probably didn't notice it. No one at my work felt it but one of the girls who was on her lunch break across the street felt it. No great shakes. If we have to have earthquakes, I'm quite happy to have earthquakes that are gentle enough not to notice.

I think the bigger coincidence with a little more impact was the amount of fear-mongering that we've been inundated with for the last month in Toronto around the G20 to justify spending a billion dollars on security.

Friends and family working in the downtown office towers described the ridiculous panic that ensued at some sites because they thought it was the terrorist attack that everyone was bracing for.

An acquaintance of a friend was apparently hauled out of his affluent Forest Hill home yesterday morning and arrested for some kind of vague suspicious activity.
