    Non Mego grail secured

It took me 15 years to track one of these down. When I finally secured one of my Grails, I ended up with not 1 but 2 of these bad boys!

Some of you may know that I am a big EC Tales from the crypt fan but I am also a huge fan of the HBO run as well. I have a pretty modest collection which includes the hard back EC reprints that were released, all 7 Seasons on DVD, as well as he animated series.

    Any.....Waaaayy!!

These crypt keepers were sold at Spence rs Gifts only. Each store only received 1 or 2 to put out on the floor.
When they came out, they were $250 but I had the chance to buy one on clearance for $125 back then. I had the money in my pocket and stood there for a good while contemplating if I should buy it or not. For whatever reason, I walked away and regretted it ever since. These are very rare and when the off time they do come up on EBay they seem to go for a hefty price.
I got two of these delivered to me Sunday night. They were both in pieces and needed to be refurbished. I just got done with the first one .

When you plug him in , his head turns from side to side. He also came with a tape recorder and tape (which I have) which features dialog from the crypt keeper.

The CK will have a permanent spot in my home!

If someone can post these photos for me I would appreciate it!?

Very cool, congrats! I don't even remember seeing those at Spencers. I did pick up one of the 12" (?) talking CKs back in the day, but those aren't exactly rare.

                Neat! Congrats on your grail.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...
