If you initiate a frivolous lawsuit and do not win there should be mandatory community service.

It's relieving to realize that every generation thinks the world has gone to hell compared to when they were kids.

lol, I know. What they need to is make the losers start paying attorney fee for the defendant.

Met a British college kid on a bus ride in Australia. He told me his dream was to come to the USA and fall down somewhere. $$$$

What's sad to me is how our system makes something like this cheaper to settle out of court. I bet that is what the initiators are banking on and most people would rather just pay someone off to avoid the insane circus of public opinion and the "justice system" that loves to play into it all...and has to dance to the tune being played.

Well, if they don't put the toys in the Happy Meals, I guess when we go to McDonald's my son will just have to eat uh...a Happy Meal. Hmmm. I don't think their plan is going to change things in my house much.

My kid doesn't care much for the toys anyways.

Seriously? Like no one ever begged their folks to go to McD's before Happy Meals were conceived? It boils down to parent repsonsibilty. These groups are obviously run by people who don't know how to say NO to their children. Children wear their parents down? Puh-Lease!

here kids, you can have a condom from your sex ed teacher before you even hit puberty. But hell no you can't have a toy from McDonalds. Make love not fat.

You know you may be onto something!

Parents! Tired of your kid getting condoms in school? Take them to McDonalds instead! Studies* show fat kids don't have use for condoms. McDonalds, doing their part to curb teenage pregnancy, one Happy Meal at a time!

*by "Studies" we mean "totally subjective stereotyping and the possibility of call to Dion Warwick."
