    Treats

Last night I went into town for dinner with a friend. Although we always try to steer clear, this time we got lured into the candy shop. By the time I escaped, my bag was full of candy buttons, candy lipstick, candy cigarettes, Pixie Stix, Slow Pokes, Chick-o-Sticks, Tootsie Pop Drops and more. When ever I go in there, I am worse than a kid in,....well, a candy store! LOL

I think I had more Pixie Stixs as akid than the law allows. LOL. Love that stuff. I'd be dangerous in a store like that.

I did that one time when I went to Michael's craft store and saw that they had all kinds of vintage style candy: Pop Rocks, Razzles, candy buttons, candy necklaces, whistel styles pops, Nik-L-Nips, and more. Keep me away from that stuff. I'll lose my mind!

I end up buying that kind of stuff for my kids when we go into places like that....I am not big on the hard candy anymore....prefer a good Milky Way or Peppermint Patty these days and love the dark chocolate

I always wind up spending more on the retro candy than I do supplies for customs! I love me some retro candy, but nothing can ever top a Baby Ruth!!! Ruth! Ruth! Ruth! Baby... Baby... Baby Ruth!

We have a retro candy store about 20 blocks away, it's pink and has a second story apt. that looks liks a castle. We take the granddaughter there a few times a year and we end up with more candy than her nearly every time. We also have her convinced that omba-lompas live in the castle part and make all the candy. When she wants to go she says "Can we go to the Ompa-lompa's house?" Gotta love little kids!

I'm the same. Because of that I usually try to stay away from them, but when I do go inside I walk out with a big bag of candy

My current addictions are Haribo gummy bears (the gold bag) & Fun-Dip (or Lik-M-Aid). I was debating between ordering 50 & 75 packs of Fun Dip from Amazon, when I happened to find the big packs with 3 flavors on sale 2 for $1 at Rite Aid...in Wheeling at the Meet. 24 big packs for $12 should do the trick. I also picked up a box of 100 Otter Pops.
