Hi everyone, most here have probably read a post or two from me and if you check out the customs sections here you have probably at least seen a few of my customs. mostly I lurk, I don't chat much. Just like in any other part of my life I pretty much keep to myself, but the museum has been a part of my life for many years now. Those who know me best are the folks who make it to Mego meet, as my daughter Laura and I have been to the last 3 or 4 including this year.
Saturday, just after getting back from the meet to get ready to go to dinner at Undo's I got a call from my sister that our mom had passed away sometime that morning. My family and I left for home within minutes.
She passed peacefully at her home with her dog by her side. She had been in poor health for the past four years or so and had fought the good fight for a long time.
My family never spread out so we all still live within a mile of each other and were a big part of each other's lives. I talked to her nearly every day and visited usually once a week.
I would like to ask that you keep my family in your prayers and thoughts over the next few days.
