    What color is that?

Looks like a mix of yellow and orange...I love it...and that big bad black stripe in the middle...deadly...

    Hec,
    That's a 70 color grabber Orange. It's ford paint code F.

Without my labor, 20K. but I went the extra mile to do it show car quality. That makes about 5k diff when buying parts and I only started with a shell. Engine, paint and power disc brake conversion gobble it up fast.

THAT is beautiful! Amazing job. Question - How do you insure something like that? Do you take out special insurance for collector cars? Just curious because I'm restoring a '85 RS Capri (302, 4 barrel Holley carb) and I'm trying to figure out how to protect my investment. Any advice would be appreciate.

These guys are simply the best. I have 100/300/100 full coverage and the insured value at 35k and it's 426 a year. They know that you arn't going to drive that much like your regular car. That's why it's so cheap. Garage keeps it cheaper too.

I am not a big Mustang fan (more 70 -72 Chevelle) but I will say that that came out awesome. I love the color. Engine sounds sweet, I love that muscle car rumble.

                Great job on the resto.

Hagerty won't full cover my ride because I don't have a garage...I have a private gated fenced two car carport behind my house...

                        I also just bought a vinyl carport tent...and a 5 layer cover.

But since Hagerty won't take me...I'm stuck with Allstate with just liability.

However...I can fully cover it with allstate...but not until I paint it...the only bad thing...it's going to be much more expensive than Hagerty...and I have a perfect driving record...but it doesn't matter...that's how they treat older classic cars there...it sucks...

That sucks. I didn't realize they wouldn't cover you without a garage, I just thought it would be higher.

That sucks Hector. Nice Stang too! I don't understand why they won't insure you when their online quote allows for cars that are kept on nothing more than a driveway. Hmmmm. That's interesting.
