I was around 15 at the time Empire came out.

I remember hating it on it's first run.

Thought it's "feel" was nothing like Star Wars.

I was eight went to watch it with my dad at the theatre it rocked!!!
Who would have thought thirty years later My son would love it as well...

I lived in Charleston WV our state capital, my mom dropped my friend Vint and me off at the theatre which had a balcony. To see the Empire strikes back. I was 6 years old and Vint was almost 7. The same thing for Raiders of the lost Ark. Just to let you know how safe thing were back then that two little kids could go see a movie without adults back then and there be no worries. Now my 10 yr old can't go off the block in our very safe sub-division. Those were the good ol days! Empire is still my FAVORITE star wars movie and in my all time top ten as well. I hope to see you all at mego meet tomorrow.

I was eight and remember vividly going to see it with my older brother and our neighbor. still remains the best of the entire franchise and one of the best movies of all time. I think we even saw it opening night.

I went and saw Jedi opening night too....good times
