Had one in St. Louis a few years ago and they should be on yer bucket list to try at least once.
I was told they freeze the Twinkie first. It's not mushy (it does melt a bit in the crust) but it's still kind of cool on the inside. I thought it tasted a bit like vanilla ice cream with a doughnut tasting batter wrapped around it.Comment

Cotton Candy. It's the "magical" one of the two. Sure there are some home makers on the market these days and also available everywhere prepackaged but still, there's just something really sweet ( no pun intended) about this treat that Momma simply couldn't make. Candy and carmel apples, not so enchanting.Comment

Out of those two: cotton candy
Other than that I like poffertjes (Dutch delicacy, basically tiny pancakes, but thicker) with powdered sugar
churros
and oliebollen (kinda like a doughnut) with powdered sugar
