A ballgame and hot dogs with the old man... Hittin' it hard.

I always try to put aside one day on the weekends to hang out with my dad and make some food, watch the game and sit out on the veranda. Got a tater tot recipe from the general that is actually pretty darn amazing; Get you some Ore Ida tater tots, extra crispy (yes, there is a huge difference) Cook those babies up in the oven till they're golden brown, then get some beef or chicken gravy and mix that with the hot sauce of your choice. Then pour the mixture over the tater tots and hit 'em hard.

Ya gotta take time in life to enjoy the simple things and the people in your life that love you and mean the most. Every now and then, a day like today reminds me of that fact and makes me feel all kinds of groovy. We lost my mom right after so spending quality time with him and doing the food thing, General Lepage style. Thanks for that recipe, brother. Way better than trying to cook 'em at the studio with the heat gun. Pops is definitely hittin' it hard.

It's important to remember that there's a HUGE difference between hitting something, and hitting something HARD. We polished off an entire bag of tots. SOOOOOOOOOO good! Thanks again to the General for that killer recipe!!! I think we're gonna make them again and hit Sonics for Jalapeno popper burgers.

Actually to truely " hit it hard", one must consider using "Frank's Red Hot" sauce which is made in Jersey and is the original ingrediant used in the original Buffalo wing recipe.
