Today I tried the new Burger King BBQ ribs...

    Cutting them across the bone, instead of with the bone produces a more tender experience. Most butchers will laugh when you ask for cow ribs (not pork ribs) in this cut... but you'll know better when you eat it

    But on the pork ribs...I'd have to slightly disagree...you gotta have the bone...the marrow inside the bone gives it an extra unique flavor...and the secret as you know...is how to cook them right (marinating, rubbing, heat, duration, etc...)...it does take a certain art in cooking ribs correctly.

    I've seen people massacre meats without any bone...and come out like beef jerky...

        I grew up 80 miles south of Memphis, I now live in the barbecue Capital of the world, Kansas City. No disrespect to BK, I like the burgers, but I would rather be kicked in the crotch than eat ribs from Burger Kang...

        I really feel sorry for folks who don't know what ribs should taste like. The deep south is good (MS, TN, AL,FL,GA), Texas is OK (but Brisket is King), Carolina? Meh... But Kansas City is the best, with Memphis a close second (chicago deserves a mention but not the same league). This is not debatable, this is fact

          Michigan's not hip enough for these...lol!! Someday we'll catch up with to at least the 20th century in terms of decent burger joints.

            Our BK has a deal where you can add on 3 ribs for 1.99 to any value meal. I got them for the wifw and kid to try. the wife thought they were gross, the 15 yr old thought they were pretty good. Me I don't eat ribs.

              Glad you didn't mention AR in your southern list there Big Dave...we prefer to keep our ribs a secret to make sure you yankees stay away

                  Living in the deep south, I can throw a rock in any direction and hit a BBQ joint. I sure ain't buying ribs from Burger King. Hell, I don't even like their hamburgers.

                      I better redeem myself a bit...

                      Here...I prepared and cooked these beef ribs in the oven during the Winter (I couldn't BBQ outside)...I marinated, dry rubbed...then blasted the suckers...I brushed some sauce near the end of cooking time...enjoy...









                      I hope people can forgive me now (oh shoot, didn't use corn on the cob, dammit... )...

                            Must be "stunt ribs" in the commercial, how shocking. The only thing I like from BK is the burgers and the tendercrisp chicken sandwich. All downhill from there. It's a shame some of the smaller fast food places have been mostly squashed into nothingness by BK, McDonald's & Wendy's. As someone who is big on fast food I thank god, there's a Chick-Fil-A in my mall and a renamed Chicken Delight that is accessible. That and I get a to have my Roy Rogers fix on trips down the Turnpike. That latter two proved that a fast food place can make multiple items well other than their standards. Edit: Yours look fantastic!
