    Just got back from Tennessee

I was there most of the week on a photo shoot for a client. We were in Adamsville, which, besides being the home of Buford Pusser, is just about Nowhere, TN. I don't know if it was a trick of the mind, but I kept hearing Dueling Banjos everywhere I went...

We saw a lot of these as well, if that tells you anything

Good question, the soil was a bright color, but I pumped it up a little to match some artwork my boss has in his office as we are going to print it to go with those.

This will also be in my coffee table book I told you about a while ago with the pictures of decrepit buildings and scenes including the one below that I showed back then. And I did promise you one of those books, Alex...

There are a lot of places where the soil is that colour in Australia.

Trust me, the entire town made me think of My Cousin Vinnie...

At least when I wasn't hearing that daggumm Dueling Banjos song in my mind...

At least I think it was in my head...

I've lived in TN all my life and not every town is like that. You can find junk autos in every state and no I've never heard dueling banjos playing anywhere. Must have been in your mind.

                  .
                  Very true.
Where I grew up in Jersey there was at least 3 "home" junkyards within a mile of me.
Each had at least 10 junks

Looked like crap but the town didn't even care

Yeah, sorry. I wasn't dissing Tennessee. We saw some great sights and I had the best ribs I have ever eaten in my life at Hagy's Catfish Hotel. It was the town we were in that conjured up the Dueling Banjos song. And not even really the town but the sights on the drive back and forth between the town and the hotel we were staying at. Trust me, that rusted piece of truck wasn't the worst thing we saw.

We did fly into Memphis and I got to tour Graceland. That was something I always wanted to do and it was very cool
