That girl in the ipod commercial...

Is there anyone that hasn't wanted to hear the rest of the "1,2,3,4... Tell me that you love me more..." song from that ipod commercial? Am I the only one that gets up and starts dancing and clapping along when the dancing and clapping starts?

Oh you may act all hardcore rocker, but I know you're strutting across your living room floor snapping your fingures and singing the chorus.. "OhWoeOh You're changin' in your heart... OhWoeOh You know who you are..."

Don't deny that you googled "ipod commercial" just so that you could purchase it on itunes... you didn't even know who Feist was until that new little ipod commercial, but now you know all the dance moves in the video...

...I know it's not just me... uh, is it?

How funny! My wife loves that song, and tracked down Feist as well.

Sure I may have all the dance moves down, but I'm having trouble finding a glittery blue strapless jumpsuit that fits me.

Wow, if you watch football all day like I do...you really tend to hate the iPod girl. She really can't dance either. I know, I'm raining on a lot of parades, but come on, every other commercial is her in miniature form counting like a 1st grader. Oh, by the way, I've also done an extreme metal radio show for over ten years now....that may also have something to do with my utter distain for the commercial.

I saw her a few weeks ago on Letterman (before the ipod ad premiered), so I'm ahead of the curve with you guys I youtubed a few of her other songs/vids, which are also cool, but not quite as catchy as 1234.

Similarly, I saw Ingrid Michaelson perform this:

YouTube - Ingrid Michaelson on Carson Daly -

on Carson Daly recently, and then a few days ago it was playing over an Old Navy commercial. Wacky.

I thought it was Bjork the whole time. The pic is sooo small in that commercial I couldn't tell.

Feist has been out for years. She was part of "The Broken Social Scene" before she left to do her solo thing. I highly recommend getting the new record. It's one of the best of the year.

Last night, I was wondering who she was, etc. Maybe Apple is putting subliminal messages in their commercials...lol

I heard her on WXPN before the iPod commercial came out. I liked the song...until then. Now they play it so much that I'm sick of it.

Bjork? Seriously?! The lack of accent did clue you in?

If you're Canadian (because she is) you probably knew who she was a long time ago. I'm Canadian so I've known about her for years, it is a really catchy tune (although I'm not partial to most of her music). The dancing is all in jest and is pretty funny, but that glittery blue suit really bothers me.

The video's actually pretty fun. It's all done in one single continuous shot which is one of those things that thrill me for some reason.
