Just an after thought comment from a past second round game:

Uruguay and South Korea was a pretty interesting game. Damn, Suarez did good. South Korea missed some easy chances. Uruguay is playing like its 1930 and 1950 all over again.

Man I love that FIFA site. I don't have TV at home so I've only seen a little of the action live. FIFA.com is where I go to watch highlights and see what goes on.
Of course, I live in little Portugal, so I can practically follow the matches by listening
to the noise from my street.

Man We dominated that second half but the Ghana goalie played a massive game and they did what they needed. Did get board with all the fake bullcrap that has been all over these games this year.

Up until Ghana went 2-1...then it was Ghana's turn of dominating ball possession.

Not until the last 15 minutes of overtime...did the USA really push hard to get the tie...but they couldn't score.

Like I said...USA needs to find that game-changing striker...they don't have one.

Mexico has two solid young strikers, Carlos Vela and Giovani Dos Santos...but it's going to be a tough challenge facing powerful Argentina.

I don't like their goalie though...Oscar "Conejo" Perez...is just too damn short and old...instead of el Conejo...they should've gone with 6' 2" Memo Ochoa...I personally think he's a much more effective goalie.

I don't know what Mexican coach Aguirre...is thinking.

I don't get bored...I get frustrated and mad as heck...that's the one thing I hate about soccer...all the excessive acting.

It's FIFA's fault...they could very well put a stop to all that crap...but I guess they wanna keep the "tradition" of the game intact. Bullocks...FIFA is so outdated.

That's why I'm glad Italy is gone...they are the number one masters at that...good riddance.

Bad enough they stop allowing the Gol celebratory shirt removal (as a woman, I wants ta see my half naked footballers!), allow the man-boys to play injured. It hurts no one and is a source of comedy.

And YES, I am in favor of allowing NFL plays to spike the ball and do their goof dances too, and I am angry they've taken that away. Next thing you'll know they'll force baseball players to run the bases when they hit a homerun instead of the slow jog/high five fest I currently enjoy.
