Ok, how many of you actually tried to fly when you were a kid?
both me and my sister when i was 3 and she was 4 , i remember I was wearing my Superman underwear and shirt and she was wearing her Wonder woman one, I remember jumping from the sofa and we both head butted each other I don't know how...but we both passed out..I remember waking up to my mom crying and the rescue and my grandmother were both there I never tried to fly again
Nah...I never did. I never really thought people could fly. And I was never much of a daredevil anyway.
"Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."
I used to float against the ceiling of my parents house in my dreams as a child.
The next day I could tell my mother details of what went on in the house the night before.
I never intentionally tried to fly.
And I'm fairly good, although it's typically not powered flight, more like the Falcon, swooping down, reaching into the skies, etc.. It's pretty enjoyable, from what I can recall.
Jumped out of my tree house a couple times in the fervant hope I would take to the skies. To no ones surprise, all attempts ended in a crash landing. No injuries to report....except to my plans to become a caped avenger of justice!
A friend of mine who lived in the city broke his leg when he was five by jumping off his garage with a garbage bag parachute. He somehow thought he could use the garbage bag to help him "float" around.
I never tried to fly. I pretended alot. The only thing I really tried to do (and still do sometimes) is to use the force to move objects with my mind. Very frustrating. Never works.
I once had a dream that revealed the secret to flying but when I woke up I couldn't remember it. Never dreamed it again.
Yep. I wanted to fly so badly, I tried to make parachutes. I would ride my bike over high jumps and ride my skateboard down big hills to try to get the feeling of flying speed.
Later I got fast motorcycles and would lay down and go as fast as I could to get that feeling on the empty open road. I climbed out of a plane and held onto the struts, man that felt like flying until I had to let go and release my parachute.

i used to fly around alot as a kid but i had 2 feet firmly on the ground .. id have a coat hood over my head with the coat just drapped down my back without my arms in the sleeves, running around arms held out wide, making them peeeeeeeeeeeoowwwwwwwww sort of noises as i flew past
id be runmning around alot in that coat... would reach upto amazing speeds for a kid but not sure if i ever left the ground... but yeah deffo in my dreams and still to this day lol
the other thing i used to do was spiderman, in our house as a child growing up we had a landing area like a narrow corridor area where the walls were so close together i could walk up the wall with my hands on one side and my feet on the other... not sure if you can picture that... but in them old edwardian houses the ceilings were very high, id be up there in the dark shadows while folks walked past underneath me... was awsome to be invisible and in stealth mode... sometimes id say something and my mum or sister would look around but there was no one there haha looking back now id have been in trouble if i had fallen flat on my face from 10-12 feet up... if you can picture id be basicly be looking down with my back flat on the ceiling... such fun

This reminds me of that quote.. think it's from 'Hitchhikers Guide', where it mentions the secret of Flying..:
