Osibisa's self titled album. If I had to pigeon hole their sound, I'd say it was an AfriCaribbean Rock with a strong Jazz influence....



Although it was recorded in 1967, I first discovered The Songs of Leonard Cohen in 1974, so I associate this with the Seventies. His "Best Of" album released in 1975 was built around the strongest songs from this album...

Peter Gabriel's self titled Album... The first single from the Album, Solsbury Hill is one of those songs that gets better with each listen...

The Clash's London Calling was a compelling album. It had a great sound, and was musically complex.

They hold some nostalgia for me, but Fleetwood Mac's Rumors, The Eagles' Hotel California, Zepplin's Houses of the Holy, Clapton's 461 Ocean Blvd. and Pronounced Leh-Nerd Skin-Nerd, Meat Loaf's Bat Out of Hell, The Who's Who's Next and Elton John's Greatest hits are probably my favorites from 1970s.
