I did a search before starting this thread and was surprised there wasn't a thread already.

I am doing a Shreck marathon with my 6 and 3 year old daughters.

We watched 1 last night - I LOVE IT over and over again
We watched 2 around lunch (the only one we don't own) - I LOVE IT
We watched 3 tonight- I love this one too -again and again

We will probably catch the matinee tomorrow for 4.

These are just great films. I'll leave a non spoiler review. I probably will say I love it.

We really enjoy these movies,would like to see the new one but will end up waiting untill we can get it from the library.

I took the kids to see it at the drive in on Friday. good movie, not as good as prior installments but still very funny. actually kind of bittersweet since they are billing it as the last. it does kind of tie everything from the first 3 together

I saw Shrek 4. I loved it. I loved them all, but here is my order of lovatude: 1, 3, 2 and 4 tie.

Go see it. Take your wife.

This was darker than the others. I looked at my kids at several parts i thought might scare them are make them too sad but they were fine. The 3 year old said all the Ogres were her favorite part.

One of the most appalling thing I have ever seen in a movie was the preview for Get Him to the Greek preceding a family movie. I really don't need my 3 and 6 year olds watching drunk bathroom sex scenes etc.

Saw it last night. Its definately no where near as fun as the first two. Its ok, but its probably best they are retiring the series (for now anyways).

I believe Puss is getting his own film for 2012, and I noticed when they put the shrek book on the shelf, right beside Puss In Boots, was a book called "The Donkey of Seville"....hinting at a Donkey movie too??
